Updated: New money and new people are flowing into the province’s mining regions

After some sleepless nights, Andy Randell is finally beginning to feel more comfortable about the viability of the exploration consultancy he launched in British Columbia in 2014.

Late in this year’s exploration season, the CEO of SGDS Hive started to receive more requests for the geological consulting and investor communications services the firm provides to help companies with their marketing. Randell now has eight people on the payroll and expects to secure more than $1 million in contracts in 2019 after starting from scratch five years ago as a recent immigrant.
