Despite the silver lining of strong metals prices, the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic was a tough one for companies with capital mining projects. For many, it took swift rethinking and agile re-planning, a lot of sweat and higher costs to adapt and navigate the obstacle course of 2020 to keep their projects financed and as close to on track as possible.
