Yao Cui calls it PPSD: Post-Polygon Stress Disorder. It is the feeling geologists get when they try to integrate new bedrock geology bound by polygons into a digital map database. For Cui, the BC Geological Survey’s senior geomatics geologist, the resulting aggravation was enough motivation to build a new model for updating and integrating digital geology.
