Martin Engineering’s recently released SQC2S Orion Secondary Cleaner is designed for effective belt cleaning in bulk handling material applications. The product was created to minimize dust carryback and decrease overall maintenance time.

Thanks to the cushioned tungsten carbide blade cartridges integrated into the cleaner’s design, the product is able to thoroughly clean dust and fines from the belt without damaging it. The product’s two-tiered tensioning system means that minimal adjustments and monitoring are needed by operators.

Additionally, the product’s slide-in/slide-out design reduces maintenance time and improves worker safety by enabling a single worker to conduct any necessary maintenance from outside the conveyor. The cleaner is compatible with belt widths from 18 to 96 inches and can operate at speeds up to 1,500 feet per minute
