Weir Minerals is partnering with XMPRO to use its event intelligence platform for interpreting data and delivering predictive maintenance insights to its clients about their equipment. The partnership will build on Weir’s technical knowledge and XMPRO’s experience with creating digital twins, which will be used to simulate how a product or process will perform under certain conditions. “Everything from equipment health to equipment efficiency, performance, getting access to documentation, all of that will be made available in XMPRO as a web portal,” says Ole Knudsen, director of Weir’s digital division. The platform will integrate Weir’s Synertrex digital ecosystem as an enhancement to the company’s offered services, rather than as a standalone offering.
