Andrea Lougheed’s career to date demonstrates that by getting involved, a young graduate can generate a multitude of unexpected opportunities for herself. A senior geotechnical engineer, Lougheed recently won the Canadian Geotechnical Society’s (CGS) Early Achievement Award, given “to recognize outstanding accomplishments provided by members in the early years of their career.”
