Steel producers in Canada have committed to an ambitious environmental agenda: achieving net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050. A litany of action items emphasizes new strategic partnerships and the use of cleaner technology, most of which focus on the downstream elements of production. It is a trend that is occurring worldwide.
