The reliability of conveyors and drives is essential, as steady throughput and production targets depend on it. Unfortunately, given the harsh conditions under which conveyor motors and drives operate, the possibility of failure is never far off. Beyond costly downtime, operating expenses can quickly escalate with inefficient energy use, belt damage and misalignment, increased maintenance and labour as well as the risk to workers who must repeatedly service the equipment.
