Anne was acting as on-site manager at a mineral exploration site, and went to use the shower. The women’s shower was in use, so Anne decided to use the men’s, something that was fairly common. The camp was basically empty. Towel in hand, Anne had to pass the kitchen, where a male night driller happened to be sitting, to get to the showers. While drying off, Anne remembers hearing a rustling sound. She realized the driller had moved from the kitchen to right outside of her shower stall. Anne left with her head down. “There was no need for him to move,” Anne told Vancouver-based science content creator Nicole Doucette on the first episode of Doucette’s new podcast, DYNOmine. “Why did he move?”
